About

I'm Muffy, creator of The Muff Report and the person behind Country Club Dropout.

Ironically, my nickname is Muffy—the kind of name that makes people assume I spend my days chairing committees and guarding the tennis court sign-up sheet.

In reality, I run a meme page.  I'd rather be at a dog park with my Newfies than a board meeting, and I'd much rather sit back and observe than join the social committee.

That said, I've been thinking about this brand for a long time.

As an '80s kid, I loved the world of Camp Beverly Hills. Not because I lived it, but because it felt like this impossibly polished fantasy—tennis whites, monograms, crisp ponytails, endless summers, and a world where everyone seemed to know the rules. A lot of us bought into that fantasy, even if we'd never set foot in a country club.

Country Club Dropout starts where that fantasy ends.

The '80s kids grow up.

The veil gets lifted.

The golf cart gets a flat tire. The tennis whites get grass stains. The family trust gets complicated. The member-guest gets a little too competitive.

The fantasy doesn't disappear. You just start seeing it through a different lens.

That's what fascinated me.

The Muff Report has always been my way of turning observations into humor.

Now, some of those observations have become products.

Whether you grew up wearing Camp Beverly Hills, belong to a country club, or simply appreciate the world from the outside looking in, I hope you find something that makes you smile.
